2006 CANADIAN CENSUS - BABYLON'S CARS

by Michael Pistol

There is not any other country in the world like Canada, and the latest released census results, does nothing but to prove the peculiarities and challenges facing automotive product marketers in this country. The relatively rapid changes within the very fabric of our society, poses sometimes uneasy questions to the business planers, questions that if properly answered could lead to seizing some really great opportunities derived from such change.
If not? Well...

Here is an attempt to analyze the most recent census numbers, and put them into a new, automotive-centered context. Political views, issues and beliefs aside, this is a strictly economic perspective of the Canadian population undercurrents that may or may not affect the future of your automotive business in this country.
