As the current summer lull provides for an eerie calmness, palpably, you can feel the pressure building up in this cooker, a.k.a. the Canadian automotive sector. The recent leasing blood-letting still has to find its way into the market place, the manufacturing and administrative cuts (proper) are just starting, and the consumer, still high on the incentives and promotion fumes is partying away for the summer, up there, in the Canadian denial land. But make no mistake, the party poopers are waiting in the wings, salivating over the latest data - and busy sharpening knives.
Ready for the September's expected Gloom & Doom Year-End Preview and the customary Schadenfreude Festival?
